Giants’ 2009 NFL Draft Class: Clint Sintim

Clint Sintim, LB, Virginia

Round 2, 45th over all

Height: 6-2 Weight: 256

Playing the fierce fringe in a 3-4 cover, which is different from the Giants’ format of 4-3. A N.F.L. survey testify distributed by the Giants on Saturday said in part that Sintim’s “need of extent might see him better right to play an inside stance in a 3-4″ And said he was “a bit of a liability receiving back in overtake coverage.” The same tell also evaluated Sintim as “a smart, instinctive player” who is sometimes too careful. It will be interesting to see where the Giants cast him. Antonio Pierce, their veteran interior linebacker, seemed to spend effectiveness belatedly last spice, particularly after he was with Plaxico Burress at a bludgeon on the night Burress accidentally shot himself in the leg.
