Hakeem Nicks, WR, North Carolina
Round 1, 29th over all
Height: 6-1 Weight: 210
The Giants did not insincere impart their extensive receiver void by drafting Nicks, but they think they got a tough and confident-handed exceed catcher as a draftee. In what could be a vintage year for wideouts, Nicks was the fifth one elected in the first globular. He has been compared to Anquan Boldin and Michael Irvin. General Manager Jerry Reese said of Nicks: “He’s got a very long wing span. He’s a big, thick receiver.”
