Myron Rolle, a Galloway, N.J. native who attended the Hun School of Princeton, will enter the 2010 nfl draft looking to go in the first three rounds after taking a sabbatical from football to study at Oxford University.
A 6-foot-2, 215 pounds defensive back / Rhodes Scholar, graduated in three years from Florida State University with a 3.75 GPA. Rolle decided to skipping his senior football season to seize the rare opportunity to university in England, despite strong criticism from their teammates and fans.
He was strongly supported by many representatives of the NFL to bring back some class and dignity to a league tarnished with a list of fallen stars like Michael Vick now Eagle and former Eagle-now-Raven Donte Stallworth.
Rolle has been invited to participate in the Senior Bowl in January, where he made a big impression on the NFL coaches with his conditioning, body type, and work ethic. Most analysts rank him among the top 20 safeties available in this 2010 nfl draft, which will be held April 22, Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
