NFL conclusion: 2009 All- Bust Team Running Back

The 2009 NFL regular season is over, and also here comes the 2010 nfl playoffs. Looking back to our 2009, I think we should recognize the nfl players who tanked your fantasy season.

Below is the 2009 All- Bust Team Running Back

First Team

Brandon Jacobs   New York Giants

8APGiants RB Brandon Jacobs scored only six touchdowns in 2009 nfl season.

A first-round draft pick in deeper leagues, Jacobs killed fantasy owners on a consistent basis because the Big Blue bruiser discovered the end zone only six times in 15 matches. Jacobs completed the year ranked NO.30 in scoring among fantasy running backs and NO.25 in rushing with only 835 yards. What make things worse, late-round draft pick and Giants backup RB Ahmad Bradshaw actually completed the season with much more fantasy points than Jacobs, then came at a much better worth.

LenDale White   Tennessee Titans

White’s role in the season would be decreased because of the emergence of speedster Chris Johnson. What’s more, as a matter of fact, LenWhale dropped some much needed weight by cutting Tequila out of his diet, and the former USC standout looked like a somewhat reliable late-round back who could add depth to your roster. And seventeen weeks later, the free-agent-to-be didn’t make himself any favors by averaging only 3.5 yards per carry on just 64 rushes. White’s best performance of the season was in Week 5 while he picked up 51 yards on 10 carries in the game against the Indianapolis Colts. With data like that, people can image several teams beating down his door in this offseason. The question is they all play in Canada.

Second Team

Larry Johnson (Kansas City Chiefs/Cincinnati Bengals), Marshawn Lynch (Buffalo Bills) and Jamal Lewis (Cleveland Browns). Johnson headlines this group of underperforming troublemakers. He actually had more suspensions this season (one), than he did rushing touchdowns (zero). Good stuff.
