nfl network recruit analyst Mike Mayock is the best “draftnik” in the venture, at slightest by our estimation. Mayock played the amusement at its peak point, generally has the best understanding of what teams look for in certain players at certain positions, and was even reported to be pursued by a NFL organization a the being back for a personnel executive job.
We’ll forgive Mayock that the organization was the Raiders.
There are nfl rumors that Mayock has endured his share of “misses,” but seemingly more hits than most of his competition.
Mayock’s top-five players by spot run along the nfl network’s base line. And we couldn’t help observing that he has Oklahoma shifty tackle Gerald McCoy forward of Nebraska’s Ndamukong Suh.
It will be interesting to see Mayock’s explanation, which he’ll perhaps give during NFLN’s Scouting Combine coverage. Suh was more decked and had much more collegiate production than McCoy. Suh also had two knee surgeries in seminary.
It’s merit noting that Mayock insolvent the newscast on Oklahoma receiver Malcolm Kelly’s knee troubles brusquely three time ago. Kelly, at the time, was considered the design’s consensus top wideout. He wounded up lasting pending prize No. 51 and has battled knee injuries throughout his midstream career.
Mayock has acknowledged that Suh and McCoy are clearly the best two recruit-eligibles, so perhaps we’re selection nits. Nevertheless there is now goal to deem Suh may not be the recruit’s No. 1 guilty tackle, let isolated the darling to be taken first global.
