It is said that predecessor Denver Broncos coach Mike Shanahan will soon be roaming the sidelines and hallways of the Washington Redskins, On the basis of the Denver Post. Shanahan is supposedly to hold a post as the head coach of the Redskins for 2010.
It’s not a done contract but It is supposed that Shanahan and brand-spanking-new Redskins general manager Bruce Allen, who takes over for the unemployed-as-of- Wednesday Vinnie Cerrato, are old pals who want to do this thing together. When Shanahan talked with the Buffalo Bills last month on a job there, It is reported that he said he and Allen were a “package contract.”
Now the Redskins just want to hope Shanahan can do the same he did for the Broncos, guiding them to back-to-back Super Bowl wins in 1997 and 1998.
