With last years first round pick (13th overall) the Redskins selected Brian Orakpo. His amazing work ethic and amazing strength created an aggressive D-Line that the Redskins had been lacking. This season speculation that Campbell will go has affected the nfl draft projections. The Skins also have injury and depth problems at O-line. Samuels is old and contemplating retirement, and many recent injuries make an O lineman a very attractive pick.
Russell Okung is a massive LT standing at 6-6 and 305 pounds. He is the kind of guy you would like to build an O-line around. He the #1 tackle in the nfl draft and should give the Redskins an instant upgrade. Many people would say to go with either Bradford or Clausen, but Bradford has injury problems and doesn’t have a cannon arm. Clausen had great stats and did work in a Pro-style offense at ND but isn’t a proven winner.
