The NFL Playoff Bracket

Coming off emboldened wins to preserve the integrity of professional baseball, Senator John McCain (R-AZ) has set his sights on the nfl playoff bracket, not for rumored steroid usage by players but for the nfl playoff structure of the post-season hierarchy that determines which two teams will meet in the Superbowl, declaring a champion.
“This is a fundamentally flawed design, one which seeks to punish teams who have endured more difficult seasons and desperately are in need of the satisfaction of not only playing, but hosting games beyond the original 17-week season.“It is my assertion that teams with better coaching and more talented players are more prepared to face the extra games on bye weeks than those who truly haven’t earned either a bye or the right to host a home game. In fact, the very concept that they have a right to any of this is ludicrous. I know a thing about human rights. I was in the Hanoi Hilton for a number of years and know the emotional strain that happens when you are forced to do anything against your will.”This surprising development has been applauded on both sides of the aisle, most notably by those who are unelected. Says Al Sharpton, “Humina Humina Humina” and his zeal is only matched by the comments of Jesse Jackson, who was so wordy that we decided not to quote him directly. In the place of a quote, we will paraphrase his words by sharing the thought he wanted to portray, saying that he feels this to be a positive discussion toward the equality of the league. This initial declaration has not been without detractors, however. The citizens of both Seattle and Indianapolis have been firmly opposed to this idea since the story broke yesterday afternoon. “Absolutely crazy.” says one Seahawk fan. “Preposterous, yet workable,” says the Colts fan on condition of anonymity, “I mean, what would have happened If we could have played the Patriots last year at the dome? We didn’t earn it then, but who ever said life was fair?”
